Rebecca is a passionate journalist whose love of storytelling is what drives her. Whether it’s breaking news or a heartwarming human interest piece, she strives to both inform and engage people through her work.
As an online web producer, she has been able to combine her experience in broadcast reporting and writing to share even more stories.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, and began her career in Ontario in Sudbury and Windsor.
Her first taste of the Maritimes came when she moved to New Brunswick to report from Global News’ Fredericton bureau, and eventually took on weekend anchoring and reporting in Halifax.
Rebecca loves to take advantage of everything the region has to offer. She enjoys trying new foods, loves to travel, and is always up for a spontaneous road trip.
